The maintenance set consists of an impregnating agent and a cleaning agent.
The impregnator will create a protective layer by filling up the pores of the stone. This layer will prevent the stone to instantly absorb acids and agressive fluids.
Natural stone is beautiful and gives an extra warm and exclusive feel to your bathroom. However it does need some more care than a ceramic washbasin. For example, it is wise to not use water over 60 degrees. Use mild cleaning agents to clean the washbasin. Discolouring of the top layer can occur after contact with aggressive cleaning agents. Immediately remove corrosive products with water. Also leave the washbasin clean and dry after use.
